Microfat Grafting: this is a new technique in which tiny particles of fat are transferred from one part of the body to another, such as from the abdomen or flank to a hollow upper lid or an area which appears sunken or is filled with deep lines. The amazing results from this technique are partly related to the fact that the microfat particle transfer includes stem cells as well. These stem cells help to rejuvenate the overlying skin. In addition, microfat grafting techniques significantly lessen the likelihood of bumps and irregularity developing in the overlying skin. Furthermore, one cannot reject or be allergic to their own fat. Microfat grafting procedures can be performed with ease in the office under local anesthesia.
